If it was remotely possible OU and tx was going to be in sec next year would they be releasing a schedule yet?

I don't see how they actually sell season tickets for all of these home schedules regardless of the school. Half the home schedule shouldn't be crap games. I think TPTB are coming to realize that.

I’m sure Tuscaloosa will let us know how LSU’s Covid protocols significantly decrease the actual attendance of Bama’s home game against Suwanee.

MTSU(?)

Murfreesboro isn't far outside of Nashville (about 35 miles), and MTSU is actually the second largest University in the state of Tennessee (just over 28,000 students). They are 4-32 vs the SEC with wins over Missouri and Vanderbilt.

For State:

Home: Memphis (season opener), Bowling Green, ETSU, Georgia, Auburn, A&M, Arkansas

Away: Arizona, Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss

Georgia's first trip to Starkville since 2010, I think State has been to Athens three times since. The Arizona game is the beginning of a four year stretch where State will have a home and home against both Arizona and Arizona State.

Isn't the SEC conference schedule already known until the end of this rotation cycle?

Your AD has done a much better job than ours schedule home and home series.

That is where my mind went as well.

2 ways to look at it..

1) If this is when the SEC schedule is normally announced, they would do it either way right now for legal purposes even if Texas & OU were coming in 2022. Behind the scenes, the AD’s would know this though and plan accordingly.

2) You are right and 2022 isn’t going to happen.

Both are possible at this point, but I would lean to option 2 if forced to pick.. unfortunately.

Tennessee is supposed to be traveling to Baton Rouge (blech) to play LSU, but these schedules will likely have to be amended for Texas/OU and LSU’s impending death penalty.

I think 2022 may be set unless something drastic happens with OU and Texas, but my guess would be the schedules change significantly in 2023.
