Mizzou needs a QB like JT Daniels to be a 7 win team. Our WRs and weapons will be top half in the SEC & our lines are SEC deep, but we don’t have the QB to give confidence of any consistency. If our stud freshmen came in for spring ball rather than summer I’d feel more comfortable, but without a QB you ain’t got a prayer in this league.

And Iw as under the impression that superior depth was coaching. Coaches aren't responsible for their rosters in your mind?

You don’t understand the difference between recruiting and coaching? Getting a bunch of talented fresh bodies that leave Athens with the exact same skill set they entered with isn’t coaching, it’s recruiting.

Yes. You do know thta we still have tons of defensive depth, right?

Well that’s progress I guess. At least you don’t buy the lie that the O was special. And between losses to attrition that D will take a step back this year. It’s not going to see the benefits of schools imploding (Auburn aside) and not knowing systems it saw last year. That 2021 D was very talented and came together at the right time to take advantage of the schedule and situations.

Now don’t get me wrong, UGAs D will be good and talented this year. Just not to the level it was last year. I have UGA at 10/9-2/3 based solely on the D producing. The O is going to be a liability that a good D can’t overcome. Oregon and 1-2of Mizzuo/USC and UT will beat them. A nice NY6 bowl and a successful year in Athens.

Talent doesn’t mean shite without quality coaching and development.

He acknowledges that the uga O was one of the best in the nation because he isn’t an a idiot.

Do you expect uga to not have a top 10 D in the nation?

Somehow your awful uga predictions have gotten dumber. Explain the Oregon one in more detail.

Well there you go. Tennessee does not believe recruiting is a part of coaching. That explains a lot. A WHOLE lot.

Progress is having plenty of depth like we had last year?

Yeah. I guess so.

Stop. Just stop. We had an excellent offense this year and return the majority of it.

4 players scored against Alabama in the National Championship game and three of those come back. Two of those players were freshmen on offense.

I get it. You don't like Georgia. But, as Djs pointed out, your takes on Georgia are horrible and more often than not....wrong.

I would bet just about anyone you predicted Clemson would beat us. maybe you should look at Oregon's depth chart before making yourself look silly again. They will be starting something like 4-5 true freshmen on offense and defense next season unless they manage to bring in a ton through the portal. They also have an all new coaching staff.

I think I will go through your posting history to see what you said about our game against Clemson last year. I'll be back shortly.

More Smokey hot takes:

I have full faith in Kirby’s ability to misuse/waste a QBs full potential. As soon as he’s named a starter he will lose all mobility and the ability to throw a good deep ball.

If Kirby can’t ruin them, he will not play them.

Tell me something. Is it true it has been 15 years since Tennessee has won 10 games in a single season?

It’s extra funny because of how elite our mobile qb was with deep ball passing.
