I'm so annoyed about Texas joining the SEC. Now I have to deal with idiots like XWing on a regular basis again. I moved out of Texas to get away from graduates like him

Watching you Lone star state pussies argue in this thread isn't fun for anyone else, either. Hopefully you guys get your very own board to talk shite on when the time comes.

No, but it will still be a defense like we had from 2017-2021. Which is more than enough to steamroll through the East.

Didn't you guys drop a regular season game each of those seasons? One being to unranked SC. No need to act like UGA can't lose.

Amazing that I called for 11-1 as being within the range of being acceptable. Almost like a tacit way of saying what you felt the need to remind a fan of the program in question.

I'll use this to remind you that we wear the motherfricking crown right now.

Also, not to mention that the whole point of my post was regarding the defense and last I checked they weren't to blame for losing to SC in 2019.

Kentucky 10-2 + Bowl = 11 win season

Worst case with our schedule: 9-3 + Bowl win = 10 win season yet again.

Jordan Davis was hurt that game against scar. We were not capable of staying on schedule defensively on 1st down. And that is one of the reasons we lost.

We have studs on the DL. But no Jordan Davis (unicorn). It will be interesting to see the impact with him gone.

NY6 bowl would be a huge accomplishment for 2022 UGA.

That’s simply par for the course for Kirby’s uga.

Might? We were elite offensive team in year 1 of hoop's system. There will be a huge leap in year two. The UGA game will be a dog fight.

If anyone, I think it'd be Tennessee - they're improving, and if your defense is a bit young could miss some assignments. Just enough to the Vols to win.

They make me a bit nervous, but we don't play them until November 5th in our 9th game and even after our bye week, so I think any growing pains should be over.

MState concerns me more because they are so hot and cold. One week it seems like nobody can stop them and then the next week they look really bad.

Don't have much of a read on Oregon, honestly.

Glanced at a depth chart a few weeks ago and they project a lot of freshmen starting for them. (5 on offense, 5 on defense...and that are true freshman with another couple of RSFR in there, too) With it being their first game that is not a good recipe. That said, maybe they hit the portal hard after spring and bring in more experience, but with that many new players and with all new coaches....?

Of course the SECCG could get them back into the playoff picture, but that schedule wouldn't do them a lot of favors up against similar records.
It would need to be a similar situation as this past year, I would think. Playing in the SEC gets us a lot of leeway. It has helped Alabama on a couple of occasions, and us last season.

Can't lose, or probably won't lose? There is a huge difference. Can we lose? Absolutely. Should we lose? No.

I mean Alabama fans predict Alabama to go undefeated most years. But we aren't allowed to just because it is possible we could lose?

And we beat all of these by 4 possessions or more. Correction: Kentucky by 3 possessions.

Didn't play MState. They worry me a bit because they can beat anybody one week and lose to anybody the next.

100% because of depth on D that’s no longer there combined with new systems. Not the case anymore. The depth advantage is severely limited and the systems are installed.

We return damn near everyone off a 10 win team that finished runner up to Georgia, and this is what you come up with?

Tennessee fans just trying their best to win the off-season championship.

We’ll still win by multiple scores come November

Not too bad since it is still way too early to see the situation. I say best time to get a better feel for each team is after the Spring games. That way most should know who the starting quarterback will be for each team and so forth.

I have no idea, 9 wins was a nice surprise last season, I felt we were running ahead of schedule due to great team leadership. Those guys were sick of losing.

Hopefully that carries over and I believe we win at least 8.

Your history of laughably wrong UGA takes is notorious, and 2021 was somehow your worst collection of UGA takes yet as we won the national title in dominant fashion.

No good reason for anyone to think you suddenly know what you are talking about in regards to UGA.

Maybe you didn't read it correctly.

We beat them all by 4 possessions and one by 3 possessions. We scored a ton on them, and our offense is going to be better than last year.

Please explain why we no longer have depth, then go look at how we have been recruiting on defense. Then go back and check out just how much we rotate on defense. I think you will be embarrassed by your post after that.

I do not believe we will be as good as we were last year, but anybody that thinks those teams are making up 3 and 4 possession in one year is going to be very disappointed.
