That's what everyone other than Kentucky fans said last year as well.

I don't agree they'll max out at 5 wins by any stretch, but you're crazy if you think a repeat of last year is in store. A team like UK can't lose Snell and Allen and expect to just plug right along.

They were good enough to put up over 400 yards on Kentucky while holding the wildcats to around 260.

and bad enough to lose to Vandy by 25 and Missouri by a billion.

Congrats on catching us after the Georgia week.

And still have a strong OL along with AJ Rose, Kavosiey Smoke and Lynn Bowden. I can see how a non UK fan wouldn’t know much about the talent behind Snell but you should still know that teams don’t just recruit 1 running back.

I watched that kid all through HS, he's a good one.

Meh...Vandy and Missouri were played after basketball season had started...As a Kentucky fan, you should know about that transition.

Ok...so Kentucky's win in 2017 can be attributed to them catching UT after Bama and last year's win over Vanderbilt is because you caught them after Florida and Georgia in back to back weeks...got it.

I think it is fair and reasonable to say GA is the favorite.

I think Florida has got a great coach, but I think the battle for second could be very interesting. Still I would think Florida gets that spot. But I would not be shocked to see KY or another team beat them out.

If you want to feel free. You're the one that went off topic by posting stats from one single game.

Returning productive players from a team that went 2-6 in conference that lost zero players to the NFL...

If you feel great about bringing back the bulk of the 77th ranked scoring defense and the 108th scoring offense because y'all beat Kentucky last year then I'm cool with that.

I am however a huge fan of y'alls game last year at Auburn. I had the Vols back that day.

1. Georgia - Senior DL, Top 2 Linebacker group in the country. Skilled and experienced secondary led by one time ALLSEC Safety.
Best OL in the country. Top 3 QB in the Country. Top 5 RB in the country, George Pickens enrolled
2. South Carola - Defense wins games and they got some dudes: Zacch Pickens, Josh Belk, Rick Sandidge, Jamyest Williams..............
3. Florida
4. Tennessee
5. Missouri
6. Kentucky
7. Vanderbilt

It all comes down to depth. Georgia has experienced 5* and high 4* backups at every position. No team in the East comes close. The 2nd best team in the East will make a game of it up until the mid 3rd quarter at best.

Correct, UT better hope that a lot of that productivity gets beat out by the freshman class.

They got two of the best OT's in the country last recruiting class. yes, I am aware they are only freshmen, but Andrew Thomas did pretty well as a Freshman, so it is possible that their Oline could be substantially improved. I mean, only time will tell, but like it or not Tennessee is getting some really nice pieces and I think we will see significant improvement this year.

Granted that doesn't put them in contention this year, but it certainly bodes well for their future. In my opinion, of course.

Reasonable, yes. I think we do win it. If we overlook Florida, though, they will beat us. Two teams are big rivals with us, and both have axes to grind and want a win against us badly. Auburn and Florida. Both also have the talent to beat us.

I wish I knew more about Missouri, but they are always a mystery to me. South Carolina, too. Both can be very, very good....and both can fall flat. I have to go with Florida, but if they go into the season thinking thye are clear cut #2 they could come back down to earth quickly, too.

It's good to see you again, Higgs!

Not sure about this. I love Fromm and think he is one of the best, but top 3 might be stretching it a bit.

Tua and Trevor Lawrence would get the edge.....admittedly I am not familiar with who else is out there. Herbert of Oregon? I don't know. maybe he is a top 3 QB.

Florida and A&M > LSU and Auburn We win the hardest since A&M cant play themselves. Auburn got beat by Tennessee, and now lost their QB and one transferred.

And even a horrible UNC, 3-time defending Sun Belt Champions App State, and FCS Charleston Southern are better than a 3-9 UTSA, 3-8 Texas State, and FCS Lamar....

Prior to the 2018 season, USC's 2018 SOS wasn't even in the top 20 by most projections, but by the end of it was in the top 10. We went 7-6 and were frustrated that we didn't win 2-3 more games than we did, even with a large amount of injuries.

2019 is a hell of a schedule strength, but the Gamecocks will come into it healthy again, more experienced and deeper than ever before under Muschamp.

People are essentially writing us off due to the schedule, but we'll most likley be in the best position for any SEC team this season at pulling off some upsets and surprising victories. We'll see....

You can recruit 100 rbs but that doesn't make them good. You lost the offense when Snell left. Sorry
