The problem with MSU next season isn't talent. The first half of the season is going to be played on the road. That has to hurt their chances to build momentum.

I'm so fired up for this baseball season. Hopefully this Razorback team handles the preseason hype and praise better than some prior years.

It's very possible - I think you're forgetting LSU lost:
Alex Lange
Jared Poche
Eric Walker
Hunter Newman
Greg Diechmann
Cole Freeman
Mike Papierski
Kramer Robertson
Jordan Romero
etc.

I know LSU lost a lot but they are still LSU. They will finish in the top 3. Ole Miss is also too low. There are several national experts picking them for the CWS

THE SEC West will be BRUTAL this year. In the East, Florida will be Florida and Vanderbilt should be good but I expect (relatively speaking) the remaining FIVE schools to take a step back. But if you look at the West, outside of LSU, everyone should be better. And yeah you right, LSU is LSU and they'll still be good, but they lost a lot of pitching.

Keep in mind for example 5th sounds back but I could see the difference between 2nd place and 5th place in the West being like 1-2 games.

We're talking a lot of teams going like 18-12 TO 14-16. I could see 2-6 all being between 17 and 14 wins for example. With Arkansas (right now on paper) winning like 19-20 and Alabama maybe finishing a smidge below at like 10-12 SEC wins.

This Arkansas club could legit be the best in my lifetime. So much talent in the rotation and a great offensive line up.

Yep. Barring major injurieS Arkansas almost has to be a National Seed (like Top 4).

Of course (sadly) a lot can happen when you get to the NCAA T but Arkansas and Florida should both run away with the West and East this year, respectively.

Auburn will have Burns hit when he's not pitching. Also, Steven Williams will be starting over Rojas

Steven Williams is very raw as a catcher. Bat is ready but the glove ain't.

Cather is the most important defensive position in college baseball.

For Auburn:

I look for Williams to start at catcher for Burns.

I think Johnson will play centerfield, McGuffin in left and let Davis DH.

Mitchell is a senior and not a sophomore.

I think Julien will get more at bats than Evans.

Good Post. See a lot of these dumb fricks forget that a starting catcher for example doesn't start & catch all 4-5 games and 9 innings each week.

But good info. Def gonna be platoons but I wasn't going to use a bunch of ^ * & and buts in my layout - I will come Jan when I do a big arse post, though.
