What? He's getting 3.5 million a year. That's frickin chump change to be the head coach at LSU. How is that bending LSU over?

I know I give LSU shite on here especially on the Oeauxno hire, I mean come on, LsU should have been able to hire someone a lot more qualified or with a better resume.
Exactly. He's never even been a coordinator. One fool on tRant swears O's been turning down DC jobs, waiting for a HC offer. Alleva must have assumed Jimbo or Herman were sure things, because even after Herman took the Texas job, it's not like O was going anywhere. Regroup and take a serious look at some other candidates that have actually been successful running a program. The day Les was fired, I posted that we would end up with someone like Larry Fedora, instead we got someone way worse. I actually would've been fine with Fedora, especially if Aranda stays on.

Heck he may shock a lot of his doubters but for what's he's being paid LSU got bent over. Should have got him for half that amount, especially since the whole talk is about letting coordinators run the shows, so he's gonna rah rah for close to 4mil.
He may shock us all, but I just don't see him being a good enough HC to keep LSU at an elite level. And I don't mind the $3.5 million. It's not like it's my money.

I think the point is that it's not like O's cup runneth over with HC jobs, so we could've gotten him even cheaper.

Exactly, plus his buyout is ridiculously insane for a coach with his pedigree.

I am so thankful for that game. If LSU wins, Les is still head coach.

Ehh... It's hard to predict one way or the other if Les would still be our coach if we won that game. It's very likely we still lose to Bama, and he would've been let go after that. We might not have ended up hiring O had he only been interim for a few games, though.

I read that a couple days ago. Even the LSU rantards knew that guy is an idiot

It doesn't matter. He got the hc job at LSU. Do you have any fricking clue what kind of stress and shite that comes with that job title? He deserves ever penny of his contract at 3.5 mil a year. He's the head football coach at lsu, idk what you don't understand about that.

Considering he's stated that he will not interfere with his coordinators, he's relieving himself of a lot of stress.

I don't know what's worse, the ending of this game or the AU MSU 3-2 game?

Maybe auburn can buy another championship like they did when they bought cam. We are going to whip the dog shite out of them this year in tiger stadium.

Don't the refs signal the clock to start by the Patrick Peterson swinging the arm motion? The plainsman will never admit it but that was some home cooking there.

Of course let's not talk about LSU not being set when the ball was snapped or the blatant pass interference by LF on that play.
