Eh... you can count me as someone who didn't know Bama/UT was a rivalry until recently.

Not sure if serious.

There is no paved road in the SEC for anyone. Any team is going to play at least 3 top ten teams. That's more than any other conference.

Forget the divisions. If the Big 12 is granted a waiver to hold a championship game without divisions then the SEC can get one too. Keep 2 permanent opponents and rotate all the rest.

I'll be keeping an eye on Bama's also as it has paved the road to the NC for them the previous two years.

Who the hell besides Georgia did Auburn play this past season that Bama didn't play in the SEC? I don't remember Florida or USC being on your schedule. Fans of teams that suck should be banned if they start a schedule bitching thread.

Just make the division games count for getting to the SEC title game. Then it doesn't matter how easy bama and Georgia have it.

Of course USC and LSU voted for this last year in Destin, but it didn't pass.

Who was leading the charge NOT to institute this change that is fair and makes common sense?

yup - bama

They get what they want. At least for now.

Or maybe LSU should just take care of business?

Would rather keep UT thanks

Of course you would. In the last 6 years , Tenn has lead Bama for a TOTAL OF 9 MINUTES. if I were a GUMP i'd fight tooth and nail to keep it too.

WHAT?
In 2011 Bama beat 2 top 25 teams and only 3 teams with a winning record.
In 2012 Bama beat one top 10 team.
Get a grip on reality.

We were your one top 10 win. Who else do you think was ranked any here near the top 10? I hope to god you aren't counting Michigan.

In 2012 LSU was Bama's only good regular season win. Bama played 2 of the top 5 SEC teams and lost one. Your 2011 and 2012 schedule is a joke. LSU beat more ranked teams in 2011 than Bama has in 3 years of regular season play. Fact.

ETA: this doesn't mean Bama wasn't a great team. Just thy your schedule has been shite for two years and will again be in 2013-14 season.
