Well it sure comes across that way.

But we didn't lose so it didn't matter. Even if we didn't have those games, winning the SEC would have likely outweighed any other one loss team this year. Hell, look at Bama. They made it without winning their division.

Nah, I've never been concerned about whether someone wants to call us a "rival" or not. I know teams hate us and want to beat us, and having the national media say something is a rivalry doesn't matter to me.
Just inequitable and we've seen other conferences change the structure despite even bigger rivalries. Nebraska and OU for example.

exactly, who gives a shite what they think. they are the only school bitching about this or the fact we play the SEC title in Atlanta
No one minds giving Georgia an advantage, Richt needs all the help he can get.

That game is important to Bama and Tennessee and that's why we keep it.
This is the type of reasoning that doesn't make any sense. You sound like my nephews.

The inequitable situation regarding UGA's schedule would be unlikely to occur if we didn't have constants. And likely impossible two years in a row.

It surely helped UGA this year. Of course if we don't lose to Auburn I wouldn't have given a shite this year.
Oh Garcia.

Are us and UGA the only teams that complete their home and home from last year?
Posted on 12/23/11 at 2:44 pm to HottyToddy7
certainly seems like it

i am with you, the LSU fans can't empathize so they just choose to bitch apparently
haha.. the LSU-UF games have been the best games in the SEC for a decade.. and only a very small percentage of either fan base wants that rivalry to end.
what the poster was complaining about is that after 20 years of playing the best team in the east, as soon as they fall off a little bit, we get what is probably the best team in the east now. it doesnt matter to most, as it will be a great home game to attend, but that was his point. no one expects most of the posters here to be mature enough to see that though.

Jesus.
Alabama- @ Tennessee, vs. Missouri
I'm starting to think the SEC is made up by 'whatever we say goes' mentality.

Bitching about which team you have to play on your schedule indicates your lack of confidence in being able to win against quality competition. UF has been the best team in the East overall since the 90s, but during the Zook years and now the last two they've been downright mediocre at best. Tennessee has only been mediocre for the last 5 years or so; before that they were a power as well yet you didn't hear Bama fans complaining about having to play the Vols every year. Some years your schedule works out and sometimes it doesn't. Bama has an easy East schedule for next year, but a year ago we played 6 teams coming off a bye week (I know everyone remembers that fact too, because our fanbase didn't stop bitching about it for the better part of a year!). Generally speaking, trips to the Swamp, Happy Valley and JHS is pretty freaking daunting; this year, not so much. You can't say that any one team is going to remain dominant, there's an ebb and flow to it. Florida was on top of the world two years ago, now where are they?
Then again, I'm sure LSU fans wish Florida was still really good so they could complain about having them as their permanent opponent!

Dang, they still hate LSU.
With the team we have coming back, it doesn't matter who we play.

Georgia got a gift avoiding LSU and Bama this year and if not for that USC would've played in the SEC title game
USC didn't play Alabama or LSU either, dumbass, so how did UGA "get a gift"?
