Greatest Team Ever
Not even close. They just had a great offense. Anyone of the NC teams with a good defense and quality offense would have beat this team. They had their hands full with Clemson until Lawrence got rattled and started throwing everything high. Outside of Auburn none of the defenses they played were even impressive enough on the field (not just ranked best among the worst).

Do what?

Did you not quip at me to "enjoy the decline?"

Is your team not going to be one of the least experienced teams in the country next year and breaking in a new staff?

Don’t disagree with you there. O has a lot of talent in place but a ton of work to do

Which would have been the 2nd highest total in the conference and 16th nationally.

With the 5th best average starting field position in the nation (when subtracting Alabama).....

Not difficult to add points when your future-tranny punter is pinning offenses inside the 20, your defense is stuffing opponents and your Heisman Trophy finalist punt returner is helping your offense start drives near the 50.

You mean LSU's D rattled the QB that destroyed Bama in the NCG last year?

Clemson was the #1 ranked defense and #5 ranked offense. They were defending champs with a 29 game win streak. I guess that would qualify correct?

Not necessarily. None of their wins from the 2018 season are really relevant in the 2019 season.

The 2011 Bama defense was NASTY. Nothing in CFB this year came close.

I don’t know who would win, but I know nobody would be scoring 30+ in that game.

LSU would destroy that Bama defense.

2016 Bama defense would far a lot better

When long streaks get broken it isn’t broke down by season

I’m sure your next point will be about how top ten wins don’t count if the ranking is at kickoff

Every team is distinctly different from the year before and after it.

Kind of depends on what part of the season the game is, did the team have severe injuries at some point in the season, etc. If you play the #8 team in week 1, they finish the season 6-6, and they didn't have major injuries, then that "top 10 teams" doesn't really mean anything.

How did the end of LSUs season compare to past candidates for GOAT teams?

If you're talking about just winjing the championship, then I guess fairly comparable.

Naw. Look at the teams in the final top 10. See how many LSU beat.

Burrow was completely lost at the front of the Clemson game when they were getting pressure.

And still put up 42 points while taking a knee at the 5 yard line. Lol at saying that was the only good pass rush we faced. Your entire argument is a joke.
