Disappointing season due to what we could have, maybe even should have accomplished. Exciting on the other hand because I almost believe it's impossible for us to do worse... even with a new QB next year. I feel we're in for another season like this year in 2011 and in 2012 we'll be ready to be counted in for all the marbles again.
I'm still so full if Saban/Crimson koolaid that it's almost sickening. Damn, it's fricking great to be a fan of this sport and my team.
I look forward to putting Auburn back into a submissive role next year, and pulling for Oregon to show up and whip an arse for the NC game!

People keep saying the season ended up "about like we expected it to." IMO, if that's true, and considering the losses we had.... none of which we were dominated in, then we did better than anticipated... because we could have won 2 of the 3 we lost. SC was just better than us that day.

NO. I haven't! that was actually the perspective I wrote this thread in. I'm busy being glad, not upset! losing is never fun... I was offering some positive perspective!

We should have finished 11-1, I think. USCe completely owned us, but we made too many stupid mental mistakes against LSU and Auburn.
9-3 isn't a terrible season, but it is very disappointing coming off a 14-0 NC run. At least we're not Texas.
We have the potential to be very good in 2011, I'm already ready for A-Day.

Troff and from a UT fan I mean geez. We were a better O line from being 11-1 or so but thats why I love college ball so much every year it is a truly different team. Well unless you buy yours

It could be worse- we could have had Texas or Florida's season.
Got a chance for 10 wins, another #1 recruiting class, and the schedule gets somewhat easier next season.

With a favorable schedule...i think the only challenge lies with lsu and oursleves....r defense it gonna be top notch ...only drop off will be tight end ,o line left side and maybe wr...but we have many wr's comming in ...we should also be alot better on special teams as well..

ow can you be disappointed in this season. We were only a few busted coverages from beating LSu and Auburn with a brand new secondary and no depth. This was a good season and we will be in competition for the NC next yr and probably a top 5 preseason to start.
