I'm already dreading what kind of stunt they're going to try to pull. The 2005 flyover rattled me so badly that it took me until well into the 1st quarter for my senses to recover.

Will the flying elvises make an appearance?

I was at that game. It scared me to death! I thought that big C-130 (I think that's what it was) was about to slam into the stadium.

It would be hard to top. I was sitting in the upperdeck and it seemed like they were flying at eye level.

Looks like a KC135 tanker with a boom sticking out the back.

They were still doing the 1st End Zone expansion that year weren't they?
The jets were so low it looked like they were gonna hit the scaffolding as they left the stadium
best flyover ever. I dont think that one can ever be beat, b/c now we expect it. that 2005 flyover was badass!!! If only we could have won that game.

With the time the game is starting, there may not be one.

I doubt it. That crew got in a bit of trouble for that one.

Hehehe! That was definitely a goodie.
The pilot who flew that big tanker posts on the TiderInsider subscriber web board. He said that they got in a tad of trouble that day because that flyover was so incredibly low. As a result, I doubt that we'll see another one that comes as close as that one (dang it!).
You probably can't see it in that particular clip unless you enlarge it & pause it at the right time, but there's a couple of big signs attached underneath both wings say that "Roll Tide".
The signs are actually quite large but the plane is so dang big, they're kinda hard to see.
Wish we could convince the military brass to let those terrific guys scrape the upper decks once again.

watch the second video after the one posted in the link. Its from the endzone. That was kind of low.

Flyovers are harder to get approved compared to the past. DOD does not want another Reno Air Show incident or the Navy F-18 issue on its hands. The lowest the crews are allowed to fly now is 1000ft above the ground. The KC-135 incident helped create those new rules.

They were LOW...I was about 4 rows from the top of the northeast upperdeck corner and I thought I was going to get clipped by the wing...
