True. My masters degree from Louisiana state university is pretty worthless.

Actually, since CFBFAN2018 says I’m stupid, broke, and depressed, I think I’ll go quit my 120k/year job tomorrow.

Thank you for the clarity in life!

You live in fricking San Jose, CA, truly the armpit of the world.

Yes, I have spent significant time there.

2 of the most God-fearing states. These states are far greater than your feeble mind can fathom.

At least neither of those two places have to create maps to show tourists what areas to avoid so they don't step in human feces in the streets. Not to mention the human excrement that holds elected office out there.

Yep after the economy of the south was destroyed in the civil war and further ruined by a decade of military occupation it tried to recover. Little progress was made until WW2 and then with air conditioning in the 1950s things began to improve. Now people are leaving the high tax very liberal and democrat controlled states of the Northeast and California and heading to Texas Florida Georgia North Carolina and the rest of the South.

Alabama and Louisiana are only a couple of decades past absolute democrat control of the state governments and education systems. The federal government busing mandates destroyed public education for all. Leftist democrat relentless opposition to school choice and charter schools traps kids in failing schools.

So finally more progress is being made. The major cities are still controlled by corrupt incompetent democrats so it is an uphill battle.

Anyway.
