In 2011 we were a year removed from a losing season and lost 4 games that year while LSu had the best team in school history up until 1/12. We got killed in the SECCG
In 2013 we lost 5 games while they went 10-3. We won a tight one in athens. we were better in this game than the record suggests
Soooo it looks like:
-when both teams were very evenly matched, it went 2-1 georgia (our september 2013 team was different than the one in november due to injuries)
-when uga was clearly the better team we went 1-0
-when lsu was clearly the better team they went 1-0
what point were you attempting to make?

That LSU played the gauntlet of the West or they had a down year. Thanks for that confirmation.

LSU owns the all time record over uga last I checked. We can end the thread now.

It really is an odd thread, Georgia and LSU aren't really rivals and Georgia has lost 4 of the last 5 to LSU.
I get that they beat Kelly at Notre Dame twice but that's Notre Dame and neither game was really a blowout.

the other guy said we were 3-2 against les, and you asked their record in those years as if to imply we were beating up on them when they sucked.
1 of the years they sucked and we won, jsut like one of the years we sucked and they won. The other 3 meetings were pretty evenly matched, whether that was between 2 really good versions of the teams or 2 mediocre versions fo the teams, and we won 2 of those games compared to 1 for them. What confirmation exactly did you receive?
And by the way, in the 1 year they sucked that we won comfortably in baton rouge, both teams played auburn in addition to elite bama/uf squads. So if they only sucked that year because of a "gauntlet" then I guess we had the same gauntlet.

That LSU played the gauntlet of the West or they had a down year. Thanks for that confirmation.
In 2005 we played in the SECCG and beat them easily. They only had one other loss to Tennessee. (Weak east team)
In 2008 the had played Auburn, South Carolina, Mississippi State and Florida before playing us. (And 3 OOC nobodies) Florida and Georgia beat them.
In 2009 they won...only played Washington, Vanderbilt and MState.
In 2011 they beat us again in the SECCG
In 2013 they lost to us. The only teams of note they played before us was TCU and Auburn.
It would appear as if that gauntlet of the west had very little to do with their wins or losses.
Try again? This is fun!

AU fans don't dickride LSU fans, they call out UGA fans who claim they are elite and has been in that company for years. We just like the people under 25 years old the truth of the history of SEC Sports.
