If you have no symptoms, you might have omicron.

I am positive that, A):, that's a totally made-up number,
.. and B):, if we gave you all the data you wouldn't have a clue how to calculate that stat

For a variant that is as dangerous as a common cold. It might actually be the common freaking seasonal cold.
WTH?

Let's go Brandon

Again, if these schools are choosing to voluntarily test players without symptoms like A&M did, it's just as good as saying they don't want to play in a bowl game.
18-22 year olds with the booster is unlikely to have symptoms.
No one in forcing schools to test.

Hospitals are not filling up with people who have something like the common cold.

Omicron is spreading like wildfire. Seems everyone I know in the last week is getting it
And none are having severe issues. It’s a bad cold. This is all bullshite but yes I expect a lot of bowl games to be cancelled because people are stupid. At this point players are vaxxed, if you have no symptoms then no point in testing. If one gets symptoms then he sits out the game, let everyone else play.
This will heavily affect basketball I’m afraid. And no telling what dystopian crap our politicians will come up with either
frick all of this

And we've had a grand total of 1 death in this country from Omicron? This is so fricking stupid
Actually, I believe they said 1 death in the entire world and that it was a "contributing factor" as he was already dying of something else.

Teams are using COVID as an excuse not lose a bowl game.
The bigger problem is players quitting their team, players transferring out after the regular season and coaching turnover.
I have been predicting a 16 team playoff with the first rounds being hosted by the higher seeds. Then the final eight will be played by the seven largest bowl games…Rose, Sugar, Cotton, Fiesta, Peach, Orange, Citrus.
Then additionally there will be 10 traditional old school bowls for an additional 20 deserving teams that are just outside the playoff. That will give 36 teams a chance to play in the postseason meaning you would have to earn it.
That will eliminate players quitting since even the games outside the playoff will be entertaining as they will be good match ups. Fans will be buy tickets as well.
With the current system that is broken, fans are going to completely quit buying tickets for games that are not going to happen. Somebody is losing a boatload of money this year with all these cancellations.
IMO this will be the last year of 40+ bowl games being scheduled.

What's the total death count, something like 800,000, right?
I believe 800,000 people died with covid. A fraction of that number died from covid.
