When you crank out as many top seasons as Sully has, you are going to be ranked high more times than not when you stockpile he kind of talent he has.

Yeah, when you go to Omaha 4 out of the last 5 years and 7 of the last 10 years, you kind of get the benefit of the doubt.

Point isn’t that Florida hasn’t been great nor that they’re not worthy of benefit of the doubt. Rather, the love they get in their down seasons sometimes goes beyond benefit of the doubt and trends into trying to keep a team afloat that just doesn’t have it. Last season was a prime example

Looking at last year's rankings, Florida was out of most polls by early April.

We came off a season in which we were pretty dominant in 2018 and in 2017 we won the College World Series. I don't think anyone saw UF taking a nosedive like we did last year. I still don't understand it. Too much talent to be that mediocre. Kind of like Vandy in 2018. Everyone said they were a top team back then and it is probably because both schools recruit so well year after year.

I have no idea what you mean by keep a team afloat. There is a selection committee that chooses who gets in the college baseball tournament and who doesn't and it is not based off rankings.

I'm not sure why he would call you a Tenner fan when you are clearly a fan of West Virginia.
