I have a MUCH bigger problem with ND at 5, honestly.
Bama will sort themselves out this weekend, win or lose.
ND on the other hand:
3-5 Texas
3-5 Virginia
3-6 GT
5-3 USC
7-1 Temple
Their signature win is Temple.

I think the committee guidelines need a bullet added that states "wins are substantially more valuable than losses" who gives a frick how tough your SOS is if it includes fricking LOSSES?
If this is the case and both Bama and Miss win out. We both will have the same number of wins and you will have twice as many loses. Works for me.

Half those yards and TDs came on two bs/fluke plays.

UF has a win over Ole Miss.
Ok, good for them...so does Memphis and they are undefeated. By your logic Memphis should be ahead of Bama and UF.

ND will have a tough time with Pitt this weekend.

Bama has a win over the 19th ranked team and a loss to the 18th team at home. All these people saying Bama gave the game away to Ole Miss are fricking morons. Swag had like 360 total yards and had 4 TDs. The only reason it even looked close is because the refs gave Bama that onside kick when there guy batted the ball forward.
So, since you didn't watch the game apparently. 24 of those points came off of turnovers (at least 3 of which were deep in Bama territory), and 7 more came off of the helmet pass. That leaves 11 points that were scored otherwise.
I get that Bama doesn't have a lot of quality wins, but they are still in the SEC West gauntlet. And to act like Ole Miss controlled that game is just idiotic. That is the definition of giving a game away.
frick me. I'm starting to sound like a god damned gump.

This ranking will not help or hurst Florida should they win out. It's largely irrelevant. Might overinflate or hurt some egos but who cares. If Florida wins out they are in. LSU is the only other team that can confidently say that.

Clemson is 6-6 against FSU last 3 years.
wow you guys played 12 times in just 3 years?

the problem is if Alabama wins the committee will have to seriously considering putting alabama #1 in the country. over as many as 9 undefeated teams.

G Tech has been in every game they lost except to Clemson. Nobody beat them as bad as Clemson. They got dominanted, triple option team that had like 80 yards rushing in the game total. lol
G TREch has played at Duke, at ND plus UNC and Pitt at home. All ranked or close to ranked. beat ranked FSU and one bad loss at UVA.
I don't see any SEC teams with a win over a top 10 team. ND is top 10, Clemson beat them.

What win does Bama have that's better than Florida? A&M? UF beat UT and UGA(granted a different UGA) and drilled the team Bama lost to.
And how does UF have fewer victories against teams that are .500 or better than Bama?
OM
Mizzou
UGA
UK
All currently with .500 or better records

So if LSU beats Alabama, will they go to #1? or will Alabama?
If LSU wins they should go to #1 unless Clemson beats FSU by 21+

LSU beat #10 Florida.

Not so sure. If OM loses a few games, UF could legitimately end up with zero Top 25 wins prior to the SECCG.
Neither will Bama, because Bama served the game on a silver platter to an unranked team

My problem is not with how high Bama is ranked, but how low Florida is ranked. The two should be much closer than this ranking has them ranked.
