The night I remember must have been the 2nd half then.
Our seats back then were right on the row and the visitor seats were next to us. We talked with some LSU students who were having a blast and really nice. I remember my dad asking where they were staying and they said driving back to Baton Rouge. I was 10, didn't quite understand, but I could tell my dad was a bit concerned LOL.
Just watched the highlight - Deshea's pick led to the go ahead TD.

My friends and I did this after the 2001 game, pulled back into campus as the sun was coming up. Do not recommend.

I think mine was ‘84 in Birmingham. I remember my dad telling me about sitting through the 3-0 Bama win in ‘79 in a cold downpour in Baton Rouge. My uncle was an LSU fan and had an RV. The wives stayed warm and dry in it while the guys sat through the game in the stadium in ponchos.

82 was a great game.
75 for me. A tight hard fought game until Richard Todd and the Tide wore Terry Robiskie and LSU down. I remember hearing that The Bear and his old player Charlie MAC were dear friends and I remember going down to the field to look at them talking as the players warmed up.

2007. First time I remember BDS being loud. I think we ran a punt back and it was deafening.
I was at the game with my dad and we were going crazy when Javier ran it back. I thought that was going to be the the nail in the coffin but we fumbled right in front of their goal line. We lost but that was still a fun game and a great time with my ole man.

r me it was 82.#8Bama 7-1 #11Lsu 7-0-1.Bama had an 11 game winning streak on the bengal tigers.Lsu led by Coach Stovall QB Allen Risher RB Dalton Hilliard WR Eric Martin beat us 20-10 in a hard fought battle in B'ham. It was Coach Bryant's last yr.Our QB was Walter Lewis.WR Joey Jones was my favorite Bama player at the time with Tommy Wilcox and Jeremiah Castille right up there to.
Mine too. It was my first LSU road trip as a student. One of my buddies had an aunt who lived in Alabama, we crashed in her basement on Friday night. Drove back to BR after the game. Still remember the little dance Risher did when we got the final 1st down to seal the victory and the explosive cheer from the LSU fans. We had not won against Bama since 1970. This began a streak of 4 or 5 wins in a row in Alabama. Still took several more years for us to break the Tiger Stadium streak.

My first LSU-Bama game was 1983 as a freshman. We lost 32-26, but Wickersham had a great game. If I recall correctly, we actually had more total yards, but turnovers killed us. That season started out great with a stomping of #4 Washington, but after that, it was all downhill. Still a great game with Bama.

2001.....I think Rohan Davey could have had 1,000 passing yards if Saban wasn’t a Christian.
