18-5 Free Throws UCONN. Until they got up and the refs tried their best to even up at end.

UConn is a great team, but let’s be honest, the refs were on a mission and I believe it would have been that way against any SEC squad. That game could have been epic but we will never know.

When you get screwed all game against a great team you’ll eventually cave. Proud of our guys!

The announcer at the end said “sometimes you just get the feel that two teams are on a collision course and it’s suppose to be that way”

LOL yup

it wasn’t the refs

It was because UConn is better

You’re a delusion moron, the difference in FTs has to,do,with the length of Uconn over Bama.

Do you actually think basketball teams should end the game with equal amount of fouls?

You realize that teams that rely more on threes get fewer fouls than teams that push the ball closer to the basket?

Or that better defensive teams commit fewer fouls because they are in proper position than bad defensive teams who have to foul to stop easy layups?

The style of play and quality of players has a huge affect on fouls

The women's final will have more viewers than the men's final but tell yourself whatever you need to feel better.

They don’t know what to do. This isn’t football where they get all the calls.

So you think all the refs in this game were in on it? Where did the decision come down from? This is captivating.

Did you even watch the game? We drove the ball non stop. Or did you just assume we chunked threes all game?

We got fricked by the refs against Purdue. It’s not shocking that a perennial powerhouse like UCONN got the calls. They want a Purdue vs UConn match up

I watched the whole game - even correctly called what was going to happen in the game thread. Bama played the outside much more than UConn (especially in the first half). That draws fewer fouls. UConn was also the better defensive team. Their players were in better position throughout the game. UConn shooting more FTs isn’t a conspiracy - UConn was better and played a style that got more fouls.

UConn is simply better in many ways
