Almost every fan who says this is a diehard that won’t miss a minute of any game including the next one. It’s the type of thing uttered by those with the most psychologically invested in the program. Fair weather fans don’t say anything like this because they simply walk away and in truth never really are that committed in the first place. Couldn’t stop if he wanted to. Ironically, because he’s too loyal.
tl;dr- respect these fans because they’re us.
