LSU scores a last second touchdown to beat Auburn. Just can not help but think how great LSU vs Auburn games regarding last second wins have been. Even the close games not coming down to the last play have been great between the two schools.
Hopefully with both teams having a down year, we can get another typical LSU vs. Auburn game.

Which one has been your personal favorite over the years?

Our fans whined way too much about that. Should've had more than 3 fricking points up to that point but Less insisted on running washed up veteran RBs all game

LSU owes the Auburn nation a favor. They need to put the final nail in Gus’s coffin.

Embarrassing Auburn in JHS should do the trick.

Then again, LSU is just as likely to get blown out, and Gus secures his job for another year.

Think it was 05? Auburn won, but LSU broke our QB which cost us a natty.

Common misconception. We had plenty of time to kick a field goal if the pass was incomplete

The interception game was the best. No offensive scores by Auburn that day. Nix was horrible (familiar?). It was insane.

I think I would have to go with the Cole Tracy game winner or the game a few years ago when y’all were absolutely dogging us the first half and we came back to win. Liked the Tracy one since it was my first time in JHS and the one a few years ago, that comeback was unreal!

The game Danny Etling snapped the ball when time expired but made the touchdown was also a good one even though we lost in the end. It was hard to cheer when I saw the clock hit 0 before the ball was snapped so it was not too bad of a heart break

Very true but you got to give it to the ballsy call on that play. You hold on to the ball for another second and have it dropped in the end zone and that outcome changes.

Also, college kickers....never really know if that is automatic but good thing we can rest assured on how the outcome was.

The 1969 Auburn vs LSU is my favorite. First time the schools had played in many years.

Conservative Cholly Mac called a half back pass on the first play from scrimmage resulting in a touchdown.

Pat Sullivan played a great game for the Plainsmen and scored late, looking like we might finish tied, but LSU blocked the XP to win 21-20.

2004: The leaping penalty
2005: Jon Vaughn missed 5 fgs
2006: The no call
2007: Flynn to Byrd

This was an extremely difficult loss to get over. Even seeing clips of it now stings.

2002 Auburn 31 LSU 7 was also very bitter. LSU had a lot of injuries and drama the week before with Damien James leaving the team and this game took an 6-1 LSU team and turned them into a team lucky to finish 8-5.

The leaping penalty was a legitimate fiasco, but I was embarrassed by how much our fans whined after the 2006 game. Having only 3 pts up to that point was inexcusable, Less and Jimbo decided to run three yards and a cloud of dust Alley Broussard and Justin Vincent instead of; idk turning to the younger and more talented Keiland Williams and Charles Scott and throwing to Bowe, Davis and Doucet with JaMarcus' howitzer arm
