The NCAA will likely go the bare minimum route in terms of any real punishment IF it is indeed true that three dozen big time basketball schools are truly involved. Think of the $'s surrendered by leaving out roughly 2-3 dozen basketball schools out of the NCAA tournament?

Or how did Sexton get to Bama? Does he have a Charger?

You think we just threw loads of money at Simmons to get him to come here? Lol his godfather was on our staff.

I remember your 17 straight years on probation, and you winning nattys on probation. Yeah they tried to ruin you alright. How many other schools would get that many chances from the NCAA much less be allowed to play for national titles?
Here's the list:

No the sec and ncaa said cam didn't have any knowledge of the solicitation. Much different than there not being one.

The SEC and the NCAA never claimed Cecil shopped Cam to AU. He admitted it to doing it to MSU, something that was initiated by Rogers.

And no of the above parties ever denied it either. Just because you can not prove it does not mean it did not happen.

So you missed Collin Sexton being the unnamed athlete in the report from September? Serving a one game suspension.

In fact, I think Cecil was straight as an arrow with the AU recruitment. He got his black arse in a sling with those MSU coaches/agents/alum and he knew it.
I've always thought AU was the only place he could keep Cam close to home and I'm sure Gene gave Cecil assurances that Cam would have 24/7 surveillance with Tim Jackson as his shadow to keep him out of trouble.
IMO, going to AU was a no-brainer, Cecil just needed Cam to walk a straight line and showcase his talents at a big time SEC program and he knew he'd cash in with the NFL in a short time.
This doesn't change the fact that Cecil was up to his ears in negotiations with an array of folks from MSU.

The Joke
Your head.
Slackaveli's post is 100% true. The coach does all that openly and the NCAA does not care.
