Now in the left side you likely have Georgia and Bama duking it out, however the right side is ripe for some fun and chaos, could easily see Utah causing some madness over there

So teams with multiple losses who didn't win their conference make the CFP. The rest of the country has gone full retard trying to stick it to the SEC since the Bama/LSU rematch.

Bunch of garbage matchups. I feel sick to my stomach. CFB died today.

The extra home game for the higher seed is the best part of the entire abortion of an idea. I do like that.

Assuming they start 2 weeks after the CCG weekend, it could be some Christmas Eve/Christmas Day Elite 8 games on your home campuses. That would be cool for some and despised by others.

So.. will this take away from the need to win your conference. If I’m Bama or UGA and I’m playing in the SECCG why not rest your best players to get ready for the playoffs?

Winning that would help solidify the first round bye.

Did you miss the part where Bama gets a bye week and plays home in the second round? Meanwhile Georgia has to play an extra game and play in Waco? Conference title games still matter

We get 2 or 3 blowouts every year with 4 teams. Why do we need more bad games?

No, I get that. I guess I’m old school in that sense. Bye weeks are nice, how often do we see in the NFL the #1 seeds with the bye lose after the first round bye?

No G5, Independent, or non conference champion should ever get a bye. I don’t care what they are “ranked”, you are just lucky to be there at that point IMO.

So, we would have had the same top 4 ... and the National Championship Game would have been Georgia/Bama.

We can assume Georgia would have still been the NC's.

What an improvement having 12 teams is.

Do you not know how to read a bracket? Georgia vs Bama is a final four matchup at most and there’s definitely a shot any of those teams on the right side can make it to the final four

Honestly I’d get rid of the sec championship game. How games are the kids going to have to play?

We'd have just missed out last year. But man, talk about some incentive for Stoops to stay at Kentucky if he can keep doing what he's doing.

Sorry man, thanks for putting up the bracket. But, pretending Georgia or Alabama would have had any trouble navigating the NC game even under this scenario (even playing on the road) is naive at best.
