Agreed. It's too much.
I do like it for teams like ours (assuming we have a seriously great year), Ole Miss, A&M and maybe an Oklahoma St or Baylor probably who need serious help to get there.
But reality is, it's been proven by many seasons now that at best there are never more than 3 teams per season who have a serious argument or shot for being #1.

I’m sure it was naive to think Bama would lose to the Aggies but it happened. Point is upsets happen and the chances of said upsets increase when you play more games and have those games be on the road

12 team playoff pretty much finishes off college football because after about 5-6 years of this fricking shite show then they will make it 16 teams then etc.Its a fricking joke we don’t need anymore teams it’s working perfectly now and still upholding the meaning of the regular season for the most part. You could maybe make an argument for 6 teams but 12 is retarded.I guess the only bright side is your favorite team can shite the bed and still have a chance to say “We Made The Playoffs”

Honestly they should not have all SEC teams on one side and all Big Ten teams on the other. Mix it up

Weird how the Big Ten locked up the top right of the bracket and the independents and mid-majors are on the bottom right.

It increases the reward for winning your conference.
Which is probably the only thing about the playoff which doesn't degrade the regular season
