I remember when I used to make fun of the rejects that had to play Thursday games.
Anyway, guess what I'm doing tomorrow evening.

Being an Alabama fan is about the easiest thing in the world, we know.

I don’t miss Thursday games. The only advantage I liked was watching all the games Saturday.
Eh it makes sense here. Everyone and their moms go to the lake this weekend. Columbia, for most of the state, is the halfway-ish point to the lake.
And now I can not only go to the game, but enjoy the holiday weekend watching football or doing whatever it is I want to do.
Any other week, Thursday games should be illegal.

After we beat the shite out of y’all this season, Venables better get your players off the field ASAP so we can’t get in their ears and flip more of them next offseason.

Oh I’m not hating Thursday night games. I love college football on any night
Home Thursday night games were an inconvenience for Friday mornings
Wouldn’t be an issue for me now like it was then.
Fun fact, the 2009 Ole Miss/South Carolina game that everyone attributes as the “birth of sandstorm” being a staple for us was a Thursday night game. They can have rare energy atmospheres.

So IF that happens your team will be 2-26 last 28 games.

To be honest Texas plunked you as bad as OU
Posted on 8/28/24 at 3:59 pm to Audustxx
And 1-0 in the SEC, and 1-0 in the era where everyone is allowed to pay players not just schools like OU. It's a new era bitch, get used to getting your shite pushed in by Missouri

My favorite memory of LSU's only Thursday Opener that I can remember.
Croom wanted State to wear white at home so they wouldn't be as hot, although it was an evening/night game.

That’s so cute!, Do you really believe that? What makes you think that? Your greatest team got soundly defeated twice by OU standards an average team

It's depressing how much your identity is built around the football games of a school. Good luck if it goes south.
