Damn, that’s a lot of money for an assistant coach! Good Job keeping him LSU. It’s about time Alleva learned to negotiate.

Difference is this, Aranda can leave and he'd likely owe LSU money. Fisher ain't leaving. Therefore if hes fired aggies are gonna owe him a lot. But keep trying to make yourselves feel better

We didn't throw him $10 million guaranteed. If A&M matched the offer, he'd go to A&M.

Apparently not. Apparently, Aggy offered and Aranda said no, twice. According to Pro-LSU sources of course. I'm sure the biased Pro-Aggy sources have a different story.

Lot of money. I hear we offered around $2 mil

Yeah. I know Aranda wanted to leave, and if LSU simply matched, he'd be ours. Sucks.

My gameday sign after we hang 50 on LSU in Tiger Stadium again in October (just like we did 10 years before)

I am happy. I also have yet to see an actual source on the numbers.

Pro-LSU sources said A&M offered $2 million per year.

Okay, now which sources say if Aggy offered 10M over 4 years, he would ditch LSU? Or are you just pulling shite out of your arse again?

Fresh off a bowl meltdown against ND no less. Is Jimmy Sexton his agent?

I'm saying if he was willing to leave for $2 million per year, he was willing to leave. It wasn't about money until LSU made it about money.

Okay. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. You believe whatever you want to believe.

Good luck with your DC search. Maybe the next one will be able to stop the vaunted LSU offense.

If he really wanted to be at LSU, LSU wouldn't have had to pay $10 million. They would have simply matched A&M's 500k raise.

Apparently it costs a lot more to go 7-6 and never finish better than 4th in the west

We're not paying $2.7 mil for a D coordinator.

Like LSU fans said all day. If someone is paid that much they should be head coach
