Revisit end of year when final rankings come out.
AP Top 25: Final rankings
1. Indiana (66)
2. Miami
3. Ole Miss
4. Oregon
5. Ohio State
6. Georgia
7. Texas Tech
8. Texas A&M
9. Alabama
10. Notre Dame
11. BYU
12. Texas
13. Oklahoma
14. Utah
15. Vanderbilt
16. Virginia
17. Iowa
18. Tulane
19. James Madison
20. USC
21. Michigan
22. Houston
23. Navy
24. North Texas
25. TCU
So I notice LSU isn’t listed. How much did they spend? They likely had the highest non top 25 cost of any team last year

How did Shane Beamer convince USC to pay him $9.2M?

Just goes to show why some coaches take coach killing jobs. You work 1 year and if you are smart can retire. The very good coaches are more discerning and choose jobs where they can at least move up the ladder.

Yeah…that might be why that coach isn’t here this year. Might kind of be the point of a list like the OP.

Nebraska will be ranked after they beat Maryland this weekend. It's actually a testament to just how far they have fallen that they are currently 4-0 and can only be found deep in the "Others Receiving Votes" section of the AP poll.

Mario Crystalball looks like the main vampire from 30 Days of Night.
I'll fist fight anyone irl who disagrees.

Your data is wrong. Shane Beamer 2026 salary is "only" $8.25 million.

Same way we paid Stoops $9 mil. Doing better than the program's history and getting incentives and bonuses, extensions, and salary increases
Till you become fat and lazy and they force you to fire them.

Facts are optional and overrated.
