That’s the ranking. Fact, not opinion.

I loved smoked turkey, but fried turkey really might be even better.

Used to fry, then discovered dry brining and smoking with oak & cherry. There's really no comparison.

I agree. I’m smoking mine this year. Cooked it under a trash can last year.

I appreciate the danger factor that frying requires and I like the way it tastes. But smoking is better.

Never had smoked turkey. Fried the last 5 years for my family. Happy to sit my arse on the couch tomorrow and let mom handle roasting one. Not as good, but I'll take the reprieve.

Every smoked turkey I ever had was dissappointing.

Every fried turkey I ever had was great.

Roasted turkey is 50/50.

1- Fried
2- Roasted
3- Smoked

I grew up on roasted Turkey. Then we bought my pawpaw a frier. That was the new top tier. Then I got into bbq. We have my smoked and my uncles fried side by side each year. It’s never close.

I guess this is the kind of shite Texas A&M fans concern themselves with since they abandoned their biggest Thanksgiving tradition: playing Texas. Sad!

Then you've had some shitty smoked turkey.

We're having some again tomorrow (smoked some for last weekend at an early family Thanksgiving).

Probably Ghetto AF but you never let Popeyes' fry your turkey you won't be disappointed.

Most people don't understand how to smoke meat properly, or understand the difference between the fibers of fish, chicken, pork, beef or venison smoking cooking ranges.
