Recent history says Oklahoma will be just fine. People give y'all crap for your performance in the playoffs, but most other teams would love to make it to the playoffs.
As the Highlander used to say, "There can only be one!"
Right now Alabama has a stranglehold on being that "one".

You talk a lot of mad game just because you’re in the SEC and still haven’t accomplished squat. If you were in the XII still, you’d have nothing to say.

Yep. Time to look for other answers aside from Asamoah and Uggy.
The Dline was dominant for most of the game. They only got slowed down when Tulane was stacking 7 guys up on their Oline with two TEs. Only way they could slow the Dline down. Their QB was getting killed all game anyway. Tough little sumbitch.

Let’s see. This is a thread started by former Big 12 also-ran about OU with the majority of posters in here are them and the other Big 12 also-ran Missouri.
And you act like we are the ones obsessed.
Lord knows if either of you had been worth a shite in the Big 12 you wouldn’t have bolted. You both made the decision to ride Alabama’s coattails because that is the only way you could have any relevance.
Congrats for having KC and St. Louis in your state. That media market was the only thing that got you into the SEC, which is ironic because media markets are becoming a worthless asset in the 21st century.
I am sure the SEC has a lot of buyer’s remorse knowing they should have held out for the two real prizes.

Usually takes BB about 4 games to settle in with a starting OLine. I don’t like it one bit.

So... I'll just repeat what I said. A&M has recruited better overall than OU, and especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Rattler did go 30/39 passing for 304yds but didn’t have a great game. They have major talent but they need to play full games. Not just one half. We’ll see if they learn.

I'll say it again. Tulane, an AAC team, did everything they wanted to on offense yesterday against a defense OU fans like yourself touted as "one of the best in the country."
Have fun spinning it, though.
They have excellent talent and depth on defense. We’ll see how it shakes out. I hope Riley and grinch ripped the players to shreds for not playing with fire.

Georgia played a hell of a game. I was rooting for you. I hate Clemson and Dabo swinney

Still an NC contender and the defense played well after the first two series until Riley shite his pants and the offensive play calling went to hell, also rotating a lot of guys throughout the 3rd and 4th Q. I don’t think OU was ever really in danger of losing but I don’t agree with how Grinch and Riley rotated so many guys and let them score points. I’d be worried about A&Ms horrible offense. Def not gonna win more than 8 games.

590 yards of total offense
2 100+ yard running backs
Best stat line for a first time A&M starting QB since Kenny Hill in 2014
Zero punts
Scored 41 points despite 5 turnovers.

OU fans, yesterday was a bad day for you. Tulane is not a great team, and they push OU around the entire game. I see many of you are saying "first game jitters" and the "heat of the day".
Well, it was the same for both teams, but OU had home field advantage, while Tulane was not even in their homes for a week prior to the game.
If you think the heat was bad in Norman, then you had better rethink how OU will do in the SEC when they end up in the scorching SEC stadiums with high humidity.
Your defense sucked, absolutely embarrassing. Many of you are saying wait until the next few weeks, well every team you play will also have the next few weeks.
Some of you want to compare Tulane vs OU this year, with Ole Miss vs Alabama last year. Ole Miss had home field advantage, and Alabama pulled away. Did OU pull away from Tulane, or was Tulane in the game up until the end?
I understand that you are defending your team, but my God you want to use rose colored glasses with blinders.
Riley has a lot to fix with this OU team, whether you see it or not. Until then, I would not count making it to the playoffs, let alone winning OU's first playoff game.
