So... I'll just repeat what I said. A&M has recruited better overall than OU, and especially on the defensive side of the ball.

The difference is very marginal and the transfer portal probably makes up the difference. And the SEC advantage is about to disappear. Your big brothers are coming.

If you think the heat was bad in Norman, then you had better rethink how OU will do in the SEC when they end up in the scorching SEC stadiums with high humidity.

I understand this point but you act as if 100+ degree days in Oklahoma have 0% humidity. It can get humid in Oklahoma. It may not be Louisiana humidity but it is hot as hell.

Our guys will do just fine with the heat and humidity.

I live in NC and the humidity is about like Oklahoma just 15 degrees cooler.

They have excellent talent and depth on defense. We’ll see how it shakes out. I hope Riley and grinch ripped the players to shreds for not playing with fire.

They played to their talent level... which is mediocre Big 12 level... accept it...

It doesn't. A&M is more talented on the defensive side of the ball regardless of the transfer portal. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable.

You’ll watch us in the playoffs again lil bro. Your hatred of the Sooners continues to grow and from this vantage point, it’s hilarious. You lack very common basic knowledge of the actual game in any facet. You only know what other Aggie posters tell you and you repeat it with your own personal jabs. You’re a beta and that’s ok.

. I don’t think OU was ever really in danger of losing

Did Tulane not have the ball down only 5 with time left?

Yes. Tulane had a chance to win the game.

Defensive Talent:

Oklahoma

5-star: 1 LB
4-star: 11 DB, 8 DL, 6 LB
3-star: 1 DB, 6 DL, 5 LB

Texas A&M

5-star: 1 DB, 2 DL
4-star: 10 DB, 9 DL, 4 LB
3-star: 3 DB, 8 DL, 3 LB

Using a point scale of 3 points for 5*, 2 for 4* and 1 for 3*, you get the following:

Oklahoma: 65 points
Texas A&M: 69 points

Verdict: A&M IS more talented on defense.

Talented players in the right scheme is more important

Grinch is extremely overrated as a DC
Elko is much better

But most teams don’t have the personnel to attack OU correctly and more than that OU’s defense fits their offense

You can power OU off the football but you cannot do that when OUs offense is scoring like they do

Random team I would pick Elko but overall Grinch fits OU with his speed defense because it is based on a team throwing the ball
Don’t have enough time because of how they attack the LOS

Have to understand the culture. People actually think where they live has 90 degrees with 90% humidity

Not that hot… compared to elsewhere.

Won’t be a big change for the players at OU
