UAB is 9-1, and has won 7 conference game this year. You have to add up all of UT's conference wins back to 2015 to find 7 conference wins.

The fact that Erdely doesn't make a lot of mistakes and Johnston is still a freshmen who does is literally the only thing Erdely has over Johnston rn. Tyler Johnston is a big play threat who has really provided a spark and another element to the offense. He'll likely never be NFL, but as he continues to gain experience Tyler Johnston will develop into a damn good QB.
Johnston is a gamer and a winner who had a prolific HS career at Spanish Fort, and I would not be surprised at all to see him bounce back from a bad USM game to rise to the occasion vs an SEC team and have a huge game
