mississippi football analogy

Its salmon run time in my neck of the woods, and as I hiked by a beautiful tributary stream of the Columbia River this afternoon, the struggles of the fish reminded me forcefully of the plight of mississippi football teams in the fall. The fish struggle and work against the current, bravely making their way through trials and sometimes even achieving their goals and having a little fun spawning, but they are always doomed to die just as they think they have arrived and have their rotting carcasses serve to nourish the stronger animals around them. Cool story indeed, bro.

We are the bears waiting to eat the fish. The fish being Blake and Kiffin. We catch the Layla fish and it gets weird back at the cabin and by weird it means we frick the fish.

Eta: Not to say we (and every other team) doesn't push that specific pitch. Just, that OM is a little better at it than the rest of us.

Salmon actually are a leading source of intestinal parasites in the animals that consume them, so even if you eat us, we still kill you in the end.
