Dude is a beast. Why does he only get 10-15 carries a game?

Because Russell Hansboro and Marcus Murphy, our other two backs, are pretty much the same person as he is, so they all split carries to keep their legs fresh.

Yeah, Josey has 951 yards at 6.2 ypc, Hansbrough 624 at 6.3 ypc, and Murphy 561 at 6.9 ypc. Franklin also has 412 at 4.5 and Mauk 156 at 4.1. It makes sense to give everybody carries instead of letting one guy take a beating every week.

Josey is an incredible story, very inspirational. Great young man. I wish all the best for him - and I'm really glad we have him for another year!

Josey is an ELITE football player. Hansborough and Murphey are strong, but they're not as good.

I think Josey's carries are limited because of injury concerns, look for him to take the brunt of the workload next year.

This is probably true.

Yeah, every time he gets hit, everyone holds their breath a bit. No one wants to see this kid get hurt again.

It took three surgeries and up to 16 hours a day working with Mizzou’s training staff for Josey to recover from multiple ligament and meniscus tears in his left knee

I remember Henry Josey from his Big 12 days. Great player.

I'm thrilled that he has returned to his former glory and is contributing to the team.
