After last night, Auburn looks to be getting its Hollywood vibe back. Nobody gave us much of a chance in these games either.

1 - Auburn at #4 Florida (2007): Auburn made its first trip to The Swamp since 2002. Auburn's defeat of Florida was the Gators' only loss in their 2006 BCS Championship season.

2 - Auburn at #9 Alabama (2002): Smith and the Tigers offense chewed more clock and the Tide got the ball back with 1:44 remaining. After a false start to begin the drive, three passes for minimal gains left Alabama with fourth and seven from the Auburn 36. However, it was a day for the Tiger defense as Thomas tipped away Croyle’s last ditch attempt over the middle.

Just as he did to end the first half, Campbell took a knee twice and the Tigers counted the seconds away.

Auburn 17, Alabama 7.

Yeah, but those AU teams had great defenses. We have a ways to go yet and are a work in process but next week will be exciting against LSU.

I'm just glad we pulled it out against MSU and want us to be competitive against LSU next week. A loss last night would have been bad.

Congratulations. A win over Mississippi State is a huge accomplishment.

Malzahn's teams get better as the season goes along. Not far enough along to beat LSU. Might upset TAMU.

2012 Auburn team would have lost that game last night.

We aren't world beaters yet, but the team is improving.

1 loss in 7 years. Auburn used to be so scary to watch. Fast, disciplined, hard-hitting defenses. Strong, balanced, versatile ball carriers/receivers.

I watched the come from behind win against Miss State last night. Are Auburn fans ashamed of what their football team has become? Here's to hoping things get back the way they were under Tuberville

Can't argue with that reasoning. I won't lie and say I'm pulling for you, but I can respect that attitude.

Yeah, idk what the malzhan era will hold but it's only a matter of time til Auburn is the Auburn of old again. It's a good thing to see improvement though. AU is far from a contender at this point but if progress keeps up, pulling a major upset this season isn't out of the realm of possibility. Next season we could see a really good AU team if they keep working this year to get that edge back.

Your signature win is MSU. This is getting silly.

Well we haven't played anyone of note yet so we don't have a signature win until Saturday
