I don't think we are passing on him, but more that he is passing on us. Even though we have sucked donkey balls at the corner spot opposite Belue all year, there are still some talented guys on the bench (Jackson and Mo), and the unknowns that redshirted. Plus the impossible might happen and Jones may become a serviceable SEC cornerback. You pair that with the likelihood of getting Hump/Tabor and you have the predicament that Bessent is going through.

Id rather see it now than have him complaining in a year or two that he is not starting.

As much as we are in Nickel, one would think playing time for a DB would never be an issue.

True that. But the Gus Bus is probably selling him on playing time. I don't know if I blame the kid or not.

What is even more scary to me is that we lose all of our safeties after 2014 except the kids who redshirted, Jai Miller, and Geno.

That's exactly why Hootie and Hampton are huge needs in this class. Gives them a year with those other vets to get acclimated.

Andrew Bone said in his weekly chat that we have a better shot at Tony Brown than Jalen Tabor. Wtf?

I hope we keep him. We need corners in this class. We have room for Bessent, along with Marlon and Tabor. Why pass on any of them?

Oh I wasn't inferring that we should pass on them, just that with all the rumors of his eventual flip to Auburn, if he had the nerve to look Kirby in the eyes and tell him he is still committed to UA.

So we have no shot at Tabor?

Did he say anything else of note?

Thinking of going to the Hoover/Auburn game tonight. Any prospects to watch for other than Humphrey?

Gus bus is selling him that he doesn't fit in our D because he isn't big enough or physical enough (little bro syndrome at its finest) just go put on some damn tape of DeAngelo Hall or Revis who are smaller size but dominant

Javy Arenas hello

No matter Tabor will be just fine

If you go to the game you have to give us a full breakdown of the players.

So apparently McMillan said that the Gus Bus will have an in home visit with him before his announcement. It was on ESPNU, but I missed it.
