This should come as no surprise to you but the Arkansas Men's Track and Field Team are starting the season ranked number 1 in the country.

Nice sail.

Seriously though, is the SEC stacked on the track or what?

1. ARKANSAS (SEC) - 219.90 points
2. Florida (SEC) - 119.52
3. Texas (Big 12) - 103.66
4. Texas A&M (SEC) - 98.35
5. Oregon (Pac-12) - 93.44
6. Arizona State (Pac-12) - 92.26
7. Indiana (Big Ten) - 77.93
8. Minnesota (Big Ten) - 76.67
9. Arizona (Pac-12) - 75.41
10. LSU (SEC) - 72.65

Almost as dominant as football. I don't want to even start with baseball. The rest of the NCAA should just quit.

Serious question.

Yep the SEC dominates track. Only other school that even comes to mind is Oregon.

Some of the recent tournaments have been hosted at A&M, right? That's good. The SEC should have the best facilities in all sports.

This is surprising. When was the last time Arkansas finished #1?

Bro, we routinely have 5K+ show up for indoor track meets. The attendance in Fayetteville for track and gymnastics is really good. Volleyball and women's basketball had nice numbers for awhile too until Bev Lewis pretty much said we're not going try in women's sports anymore.

Softball and Soccer no one has ever paid any attention to.

I'm surprised, we've only been winning SEC championships lately, the program has been down as of late.

Yep. It should stay in the SEC, because nobody else in the nation spends the money on facilities, save Oregon (Nike dude was a track guy there. frick him.)

Which is surprising with the amount of money Tyson pumps into the program and Springdale being so close.
