Yeah, I don't get the fascination with Mason. He came into a good situation with Vandy climate wise after Franklin and wasn't able to keep it going. He's supposedly a defensive guru and Vandy's defense stinks. Then the argument by his fans becomes, "well, it's a talent issue." Well, he recruited those guys, or didn't recruit as the case may be, so ultimately it falls on him that they aren't very good. I don't think he's very good as a head coach. Maybe a coordinator.

I've said this before man, Mason is not HC material for Ole Miss, he is a damn good DC though and I would love it if he was out DC.
