If he can't play I doubt they would waste a spot on him. Do they just bring players that cant play? Is that normal? I figured that might be a good indicator about his status.

Only 70 can travel. No reason to take him if he isn't going to play. He didn't go to Alabama.

With Bama we knew Friday because the media was all over it. Why haven't we heard yet?

Did anyone confirm that he didn't travel?

Doubt he did or we'd for sure hear it, but I don't think anyone's confirmed or denied

It's not unheard of for an injured player to travel with the team. Even if he can't play, he still wants to be there to help rally his bros. They're a team; they're all in this together. They all feed off each other. I'm not sure if this all can be said for (self) suspended players, but Tunsil is from Florida. He's gonna be there. In uniform or not.

I get this, but why wasn't he at Bama? They would've needed him more then

You can only travel 70 players on the road. We aren't going to make a kid that we may need to play in a Donnely to stay home so Tunsil can hang with his boys

Fairly certain if there's development in the story you'll hear about it.

OK to preface, no breaking news on the situation.

But this dude wrote a pretty good article on #freetunsil.

The Deafening Silence Surrounding Ole Miss's Laremy Tunsil, by @MattRHinton LINK

I am so pissed. And I want our team to hang 70 this weekend - with Swag throwing 5 TDs.

Happy homecoming, y'all.

Very good article. Says a lot of things I've wanted to say myself over the past several weeks.

NCAA is doing it because they can. They're power hungry. End of story. Their grip on these athletes is coming to an end shortly by virtue of the court system.

I actually thought we'd hear something this week the way Bjork was talking.

Do universities have ANY recourse with the NCAA via lawyers and courts?

ESPN just reported this:

quote:

An announcement on Laremy Tunsil’s eligibility is coming this week. Ole Miss has already heard from the NCAA about its junior offensive lineman, and will brief the rest of the country on the situation soon.

Which leads me to believe:

When are we getting Tunsil back? = Never
