Does anyone know? Do we think he'll be able to play against Bama?

Idk but this is ridiculous. The case was dropped. I think they should play him for Fresno. Whether they say "OK, we don't know, but he should sit a half" or whatever. I think we play the "oh, well we self imposed him to sit one game, so we good, right?" approach. Like so many others have done.

See UGA athletics.

I don't believe they will come w/ anything. Delay is the punishment for making them do an investigation in the first place.

My thought is maybe we are hoping to please the NCAA a little and are self imposing a 2 game suspension on him so we can say "Hey look NCAA ya'll didn't really find anything but just to make sure and for your troubles we took him out of 2 games"

Then bring him back for Bama. But hey nobody really knows.

It was said on Rebel Sports Radio, that there were negotiations between Tunsil Lawyer and NCAA over a 2 to 4 game suspension. Obviously we want 2 and NCAA wants 4. Which would coiencide with Freeze not knowing.

And 2 games is to too many. What are we being penalized for? For someone making accusations that were dropped in a judicial court of law? Because they had to follow up with an accusation?

Remember when Manziel had allegedly received money for autographs, court case was dropped and he still sat out for a half a game, right? The timing was better then I guess cause the NCAA had the whole summer to come up with their reprimand (hand slap) for Manziel.

Shoot, remind me, FSU issued their self-imposed sanctions for Jamies (2 games?) for a way more heinous crime IMO.

We need Tunsil to get a warm up game before Alabama.

I talked to a Board member today who was not optimistic about the situation. All he said was: "There are issues".

Again, the court case has nothing to do with the NCAA. You may as well forget that even happened at this point.

The 2 games is warranted, but I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't go to 4. That or Sean Rawlings better get his arse ready

Yet Rebel Sports Radio said they'd heard good things about it.

OK, I get it.

Is there any other case or ruling that is comparable with our situation? I can think of other, different assault cases involving the NCAA, like LaGarret Blunt or UGA. But this is different...

It's just bs, man.

This has nothing to do with the alleged assault

And he played the entire season which just proves further why we should play him for the Fresno State game.

No I don't think you do.

Like others have said. This has NOTHING to do with the assault charges that were taken to court.

It has to do with HOW THE frick DID WE LAND HIM haha

Yeah that's why I agree with Neal's take on it. Make the NCAA play its hand or lawyer up drown it out.

Why is this coming out the week before his Jr year. Why hasn't it already played out. Is the NCAA trying to find a "gotcha" moment and waiting until the best time to release it? The timing doesn't make sense to me.
