Something Eli always had them make especially for them that eventually became a menu item named after him.

Country-fried steak, mashed potatoes, and lima beans all on a big hamburger bun. Fries on the side.

there's a place in austin near UT called Big Bite that makes sandwhiches with chicken tenders, mozzeralla sticks, fries, etc. all inside. you'll feel like shite after but it's incredible at 3am when you're hammered. they have like 100 different combinations.

The last time I had the BBQ nachos from there they gave me more nachos than BBQ. It was a damn shame because they were unreal for the first year or so.

The nachos for the first couple of months were awesome. Gave you a ton of food. When they realized they weren't making any money they raised the prices and gave you all chips.

It really was overrated. I went there and saw people with huge beards and tatoos smoking in the building and it was me, 2 friends, and a motorcycle gang there. Food was also below average. I know my ribs sannnnnn.

Dammit UM.

One of the last days I was in Oxford I had Hummus and the Chicken Gyro from Volta. Both were legit (and I've eaten at my fair share of Mediterranean places up here).

frick the shak, ezell's is awesome and I live in garden terrace so I go there all the time.

It's been packed constantly since it opened so I think it's gonna do well. They still get you your food in 15 minutes tops though.

This up coming year will be my 5th year in Oxford, I would be scared to know how much money I've spent on strombolis over the years. It seems like everytime Im riding back in on 6 when I get to county line I call them and its waiting when I get there.

There isn't a better meal in town though

It's a seafood restaurant that took the shak's building. The food is legit and is cheap for what it is, anywhere from 10-12 bucks for all kinds of fish/shrimp plates. 7-8 bucks at lunch.
