I wouldn't say anything...but I would definitely not want to hang around anyone carrying around / wearing something with a rebel flag. That's embarrassing.

Seriously i can see why some would be cautious of the rebel flag and i'm actually glad we are moving away from it but i still don't see people genuinely getting upset over a flag on spring break..just drunk people looking for a fight

Unfortunately, anything with Stars & Bars rightly has a negative conatation associated with it. Just for general perception purposes, institutions need to disatance themselves from that symbol. You, as many did, grew up seeing that as a symbol of your beloved institution whereas many others see that flag and immediately have visions of overt racism.....and due to the emotions that get dredged up, that perception will never change.

Stars & Bars

That's not the Stars & Bars. It's a highly adulterated version of the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. The battle flag was later made rectangle and used as the Second Navy Jack, and was used in the Stainless Banner and the Blood-Stained Banner.

This is the Stars & Bars:

Good
I can drink coffee at all times of the day and still fall asleep when needed.

Pool.

Literature discussions.

Long, novel-like troll threads.

Bad
Ironing clothes. I hate it and I'm bad at it. Luckily, I have a friendly female roommate who picks up my slack.

Patience.

I can't punt a football very far, but I can punt them relatively high.

I can sling a football. I hit 85 on the radar gun in high school (csb, I know) for baseball. However, I had no idea where the ball was going.

I once hit 11 batters in the same game against Gautier High School. I hit one dude three times

Good:

Cooking. I was raised with 4 women. I was taught to cook.

Throwing anything. Baseball, football, or frisbee. I'm good at that.

Writing.

Bad:

Math. Holy frick I'm bad at math.

Ironing clothes. I can do it, but it doesn't look pretty.

Picking out gifts. Like when my gf's birthday is coming up. I have to ask like 10 different people for help.

Good: I retain minutia (some would say useless) very easily. Which helps with my line of work.

Bad: No one in my family will to play Trivial Pursuit with me

I used to be that way. Then I started drinking more and killed off the periphery brain cells that held the minutiae. Now my brain is like a finely tune, focused machine that has no use for trivial knowledge.
