Do we have any good LB's in state for 2017?

Seriously

Why can't it be like Alabama, which has 2 five star LBs the same cycle in their state

Charlie Strong isn't going anywhere if he wins 8 next year, which I think he will.

That's coming from a guy on the Texas Board. Beating Baylor and Oklahoma really bought him some time. And this recruiting class is solid.

Next year you have Willie Gay 4* OLB out of Starkville and Freddie Hartz 3* ILB out of Morton

Is it true that. Simmons knew over a week ago that he was not coming to OM yet kept telling our coaches he was all in all the way to 1130 this am? Is that true?

If so...tip of the hat to the young man and to Mullen. Nice troll. Probably cost a recruit or two.

Texas closed strong this year in recruiting and if they improve on the field, it's going to get even better. However, I don't see Sumlin & Miles both making it past next year and Herman would have to be the front runner for either job.

If you followed the recruiting thread, I posted that MSU was gaining confidence on Simmons. They made a huge move Monday

I have about the best insider at Texas and that's coming from the man's mouth. I think he lands at A&M and then the west gets even harder.

And yes, I know everyone claims insiders haha.

Freeze said 2017 class will focus on midyear enrollees on defensive front.

When did he say this? Thank god. We need to restore the Landshark D.

I thought I overheard him saying that he eliminated Ole Miss a week ago and it was between Alabama and MS State. A move may have been made Monday...but the move on Ole Miss happen over a week ago according to him....AND.... Like I said, he played us all the way.

IF I am getting this wrong...please correct.

We got played, but he will regret the decision around November. Similar to Chris Jones

LSU is getting 18 starters back, #1 recruiting class, and get Alabama and Ole miss at home. I'm not a big Les fan, but he won't be fired

No flame. Just the quarterbacking is not good enough.

No worries and it's certainly possible. LSU-Ole miss 9/10 times is a one score game anyways.

But LSU has gotten to a national championship with Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson...and Harris is much better than both. I just wouldn't bank on beating LSU because of that

I know that LB is a problem but our secondary and Dline have some good depth for years. As long as they focus on DL, LB and corner next year we will be good.

No I agree, y'all should be the favorites to win it all next year. But with all the heat he has on him, if he loses to Bama again he might just be a casualty of war. With that said, I think if any of the QBs develop, I think LSU wins it all next year. There is NFL talent everywhere on that team. But in my opinion, the LSU boosters will not take losing to Bama again very well and with Saban there, it's impossible to bet against them.
