They didn’t get what they wanted and because they’re not being kicked out (yet) they think they somehow won

The biggest issue is everyone starting individual threads talking about the same fricking thing. At least mine have different angles to them.
But

But

LSU did exactly what the SEC wanted them to do, but apparently that's a massive win for LSU...

Literally nobody wants to talk football. I started threads to discuss several games and they immediately went to page 2 because new threads discussing the trailer park fight kept popping up. I'm gone for a few days. frick it.

It’s a genuinely interesting question on whether these kids should be able to play or not that has been reduced to retards humping a door knob over what institution owns another.
I do genuinely feel bad for Harris and Wright because they made decisions to go to the NFL without knowing they could be eligible. Their problem is timing and that Lane is involved. Had this been hashed out in May, no one would care beyond shite talk.
But what’s funny about this is that LSU was actively harmed by Lane and these guys pursuing this because they need to get rid of LSU’s right to control the roster in order to play. And LSU is in trouble with the SEC for lacking that control, but the players also enjoined the SEC from stopping them through the usual means (eligibility), so the SEC had to take more drastic measures in order to control the behavior. So the institution of LSU is stuck between a rock and a hard place and cannot win, because now the SEC wants to take the fight to its fullest potential in order to establish that they can have the power in the future.
LSU’s unfettered giving of the football program to Lane Kiffin caused this whole shitstorm because they lacked any ability to control what they were doing due to the players’ TRO. It’s fascinating to look at, but instead, we gotta play victim and diarrhea all over the board. It’s why I don’t post here any more and come here rarely. Nothing of substance is ever posted. Trolling is only so interesting.

Yeah the main board is largely useless as an actual sports message board at this point.

Whoever advised them is who fricked them and that's who they should hold accountable.
But... let's talk sports and not this shite.

Let's do some week 2 predictions then:
Mizzou @ Kansas
Arizona State @ Texas A&M
Oklahoma @ Michigan - think this is setting up to be a classic week 1 overreaction game.
Alabama @ UK
State @ Minnesota
Tennessee @ GT
Ohio State @ Texas - I just flat out think OSU is the better team.
Arkansas @ Utah
Big non-SEC Games:
Arizona @ BYU - I really like BYU and Houston this year to challenge Texas Tech
Memphis @ Boise - feels like winner is likely the G6 playoff team

I think it’s different to talk about the actual substance of it all vs. “LSU owns Sankey, nuh uh, Sankey owns LSU”, but I get the point. Also could have a lot to do with the games last weekend outside of ours being dogshit.
Personally, I still think our defense will end up being great despite what was shown on Sunday. I think they were so keyed in on stopping the run and we lacked film on that QB that it demolished our game plan when he woke up. Plus the TOP not being in our favor.

Well, I erased my comment because I felt it probably would have come across as a-hole and not in jest as was my intention.

I think Kentucky keeps it close if not outright wins. Just a feeling.

I think they hang around but Bama ultimately covers the 10.5 spread. I do think Kentucky will much improved overall under Stein though - he seems like a home run for them

I would agree with all of these predictions, except Oklahoma. Michigan looked horrible last week even though they (cough, cough) won the game.

State scheduled a game in Minnesota? fricking wild

Oh 100%. Every single person is picking Oklahoma to boatrace them. And when that happens, it always seems like the ignored team wins.

Speaking of State playing Minnesota. I would love to schedule someone from the B1G. I know that they don't like coming South but since we've become a bigger brand, it would be nice to play someone. We had Purdue on the schedule for a while but not sure if that is happening or not.

I would love to do a home and home with Nebraska or Iowa.

Let’s play Oregon. Winner gets Nike money for NIL
