All the good players will transfer. Looks like punishment is worse than feared. Probably hire Luke and this will look like the glory days. frick it.

That and the o line play disqualified Luke from the head coaching job.

If we hire Luke we really no longer care about winning.

Anyone that remotely supports hiring Luke is beyond stupid

Why?

We lost because of 3 AJ Brown drops, and 9 penalties in one quarter.
Where did Metcalf go?
Is that a new record for penalties in a quarter?

DK burned his man twice in the second half but Ta’amu was so busy running for his life he never saw it.

Did AJ go into the locker room to get a look at his hammy?

Hugh Freeze nailed the Longo hire

It's amazing how close we are to 8-4.

What I find weird is how fans totally look over everything and still expect results. This team has lost its HC, is playing for nothing, no bowl, no idea who the coach will be next year, lost its starting qb, lost its backup RB, and is playing with LB core with 1 SEC LB and a bunch of scrubs with him. All Of that and the team is a few mistakes away from being 7-4.
Coaching wasn't the reason we lost. Penalties and drops were. That even being the case the fact we were even in the game at all is amazing. Wtf are these kids playing for? What's the motivation?
Florida gave up on the interim, Tennessee gave up on the interim. At some point you just gotta accept it for what it is and be glad it isn't 2011 all over again.

I don't always agree with everything you say, and I also think you put stuff out there on Scout that is way too easy to tear down; however, I think you nailed it with this one.

It was by no means full last night nor did I expect it to be. However, I thought the atmosphere was really good for the most part. You could tell we haven't had a night game in football weather that still actually meant something to both the program and the fans. That said, I was thinking I just got caught up rooting this bunch on and missed something, but I was thinking the same thing about D.K. I actually wondered if he even played thinking maybe he was hurt. Obviously he did, but it sure didn't seem like it especially with Jefferson out.

Polk is a starting LB! How is that even possible? I'm sure he's a great kid who works really hard but wtf?
Posted on 11/19/17 at 9:47 am to HamzooReb
I love how at the beginning the year how Longo was tooting his own horn about only running 15 or so plays and using some variations. That turned out real well for him. Everyone who had had any major dealings with this football program over the past 5 years needs the boot, including Bjork

It's possible because he's beaten out those around him who were supposed to be better when they were recruited. Polk wasn't even recruited to come to OM. Now, is this a matter of coaching, effort on those other players' part, Polk's commitment? Probably a combo of it all. At any rate, it's not Polk's fault, and I give him tons of credit for stepping up. He played his arse off last night with what he brings to the table.

Yes I totally agree it's not his fault he really stepped up but he's a walk on. I love a good walk on story baker mayfeild or JJ Watt never mind I'm gunna sound like an arse hole.
