I know this place has been doom and gloom for the last couple of years but I gotta admit I am kinda excited about this season. Our defense should be better just because of the DC. The offense is going to be different but I still think we are going to be able to score and score in the red zone hopefully.
I think Matt Corral will end up be being a better overall player than Taamu. He's got the lines posted in his locker for motivation. I love that...
If you aren't excited about watching Ealy this year you are dead inside.
We are just going to be young and its going to suck sometimes but hopefully it will give us some excitement for the future.
Anything else to be excited about?

All I did was state facts to start this thread but apparently people want to blindly feel good about the upcoming season. We won't be worth a shite until Matt Luke is fired. You people need to come to grips with that.

I enjoyed the players and Luke YouTube segments. It is good to see the kids being excited about the game they love.
I expect to see massive improvement in the defense. We had better players than they showed last year but they were just played cmpletely wrong by an inept DC. Also note massive improvement is probably still in the bottom 6 in the SEC.
I am also excited to see a real offence and not the 12 play playbook that any defense can pick up on after watching 3-4 of our games, if that many were needed to see all 12 and the variations of them.

I also expect massive improvement in the defense, which in this case, may be just lining up correctly.....hard to believe the absolute shite show that our program has become....I am excited about the possibility of Rich Rod and what he may bring but feel he will be handicapped by a bad OL.
Two people I would like to see gone asap....Matt Luke and Paul Jackson.
Matt Luke-not a lot needs to be said. He is one of those people who could have on a suit or sweats and just looks like an idiot. Hard to feel great about the direction of the program when you see he standing on the sideline.
Paul Jackson-we are and have been one of the weakest teams in the SEC for some time.

I think we might score against decent teams. That sure would be different from last year.

Nobody even remotely knows how this season will play out. However, we have several reasons to be optimistic. As fans, we should probably all just leave it at that for the time being.
