Evan Engram is gonna surpass Jermey Shockey as NYG’s best TE one day. He was basically their number one Revieving threat when OBJ went down. Love watching that Ole Miss combo with the Giants.

If that happens I’ll buy season tickets!!!

Kelly has overtaken Lynch on the Bronco’s depth chart.

I won’t be surprised if Lynch’s career is over. He’ll probably cry and wallow and could even be cut, but his career is probably done regardless. If so, his career highlights are beating Ole Miss in 2015 and having that victory propel him into the first round of the draft

$wag Kelly is throwing darts again for the Broncos so I’m gonna tell my favorite $wag story from when I was in school.
A girl my friends and I knew through a friend’s gf was hooking up with him for a little while, one day Chad hits her up to have dinner. They’re gonna have a homemade dinner at the $wag pad. Said girl arrives and walks in confused to see there is no scent nor sight of food being prepared, upon inquiry Chad responds, “Well yeah I mean you’re gonna make it cause I got all the groceries. All of you southern girls are supposed cook, right?” She immediately went home and never talked to him again
That said, Chad always seemed like a fairly nice/approachable guy when out in Oxford, especially for a star football player. People at the bars would harass him to talk to him or get a picture and he was way friendlier than he needed to be.

Barring injury, I see Kelly having a long NFL career even if that means being the next man up for most of it. If he can improve his decision making (which he probably will), you're left with everything you would want in a NFL QB. His arm strength is beyond that of most pros, he's accurate when he's not forcing it, he can do it with his legs when you need him and he has the confidence/poise of a vet. If he can limit the gamble throws, we may be looking at a Favre-like presence.
On top of that, he's incredibly exciting to watch. Jaws drop when he lets it fly, teams would love to monetize that kind of player. Just wait and see, the stars are already aligning.

Anyone watch Dolphin games? I see a lot of Trae Elston highlights on twitter. However he's pretty far down in their depth chart. Does he make the team or get cut?

Kelly will get his chance eventually. Dude is such a stud. When you watch a lot of preseason games you see these backups and you’re like “who the frick are you? How are you on a NFL roster?” And the look absolutely inept. That’s the complete opposite of Chad. He looks like a stud out there with that arm. He made a few passes against the Vikings that half the NFL starting QBs couldn’t make.
And decision making comes with time in the NFL. it’s a whole new ball game. Very rarely do great QBs just walk out there and not screw up some early on.

I’m also pumped about Donte going to the Jags. He has a chance to move up the chart and really make a name for himself due to that situation.
And my biggest disappointment so far has been Laquon

From what I’ve heard Donte has not been playing all that well in Jags camp.

He hasn’t, we should’ve just paid Allen Robinson and let Marquise Lee walk

I think this was more of a team chemistry move. Marquise is a team leader, and Allen Robinson couldn’t stand Bortles. Robinson wasn’t worth the money the way our offense is ran. He went out on like the third play of the season last year, and we had our most successful year in over a decade without him. Plus more cap room, I think it was the right move. Shocked we let Hurns go tho.

Paxton Lynch comes to mind...

Not sure if y’all keep up with the AAF but Jeremy Liggins signed with the Memphis Express a couple days ago.
He’ll join Gates, Bouldin and Christian Morris as former Rebs playing for Memphis.

Lig has bounced on and off the roster. I can’t believe they thought Christian Hackenberg should start over anyone. They’re not great, but the offense at least looks like something resembling football now that Mettenberger is back there

Reading back through all the Swag talk makes me sad
And speaking of the Express, why don’t they pick him up? Would be a great opportunity for him to jumpstart into maybe making it back to the NFL one day, although I fear that chance is slim.

Memphis isn't picking up another QB after they just got Manziel

I didn’t realize they picked him up. How does that work? I thought they were limited to players from certain schools in the region. Do they have a deal with certain CFL teams as well?
