Paxton Lynch really sucks. Like, there’s something off. He’s got the mindset of a 14 year old. He would have back yard sleepovers and tickle fights and shite with his “entourage” when he was at Memphis. Weird shite.

I got the stink eye for laughing out loud at this in my office.

It’s all true. Chris Vernon back when he was on 92.9 ESPN in Memphis went on for at least a half hour about how weird goofy Lynch is and how he and his “bros” are just kinda off. I vividly remember thinking, “How did this fricking pansy demolish us?!” while I was listening in my car outside of Central BBQ. Since Vernon works for the Grizzlies now, all his 92.9 stuff got purged, otherwise I’d try to link it

I listen to the local sports radio in Denver. They say Paxton Lynch is still in college when it comes to his maturity. The entire fan base and broncos organization know this now.

In my mind there’s no way Lynch is a better QB than Chad Kelly. Broncos country also loves Swag Kelly. Heard him on the radio and he got interviews before the draft. Said he’s been doin nothing but putting in work, and learning the new offense this off season. He hasn’t lost any confidence, he’s still got the swagger to be the starter in Denver. Right now it’s between him and Lynch for Case Keenums back up role. The problem is the investment in Lynch compared to Kelly, and John Elway picking Lynch in the first round, he’s gonna want Lynch to be the back up, but I hope Swag just tears it up in mini camp, and Keenum returns to the Keenum of the Rams. Chad has a shot. The competition isn’t that great in the Denver QB room.

Does any NFL team carry 3 QB on the roster?

Or is basically top 64 and that's it?

Over the past couple years, more and more teams have been going with just 2 QB’s. Last year 19 NFL teams carried only two QB’s after preseason. Good news is, 13 teams carried more than two QB’s last year, and the Broncos were one of them. With John Elway at the helm, and the QB situation not looking great if Keenum goes down, I’d be surprised if the broncos only had two QBs on the roster this year.

I don’t have to have seen any film of Chad Kelly in the NFL to know that if I’m the Broncos I’d much rather have Chad Kelly as my starting QB than Case Keenum. Keenum’s ceiling is that of an average quarterback.

NFL is still a business at the end of the day, and One of these guys is making the league minimum and one of them is getting 36 million over the next two years. I love Chad as much as anyone else, but the Broncos are gonna want to see that 36 million dollar investment, not Mr. Irrelevant.

The Broncos shouldn’t have spent 36 million on Case Keenum.

Yes but if he seems like a bust do you not trade him to save some of that 36 million dollars?

They could trade him if he’s a bust, but $25 of that $36 Mill is gaurenteed. So they would still lose out on a $25 million investment.

^^^ Yeah. Very good question. He was rock solid for the most part. Leg strength maybe?

I haven't heard about DeMarquis Gates being picked up anywhere either.

The St. Louis Cardinals will be without their ace in Carlos Martinez as Mike Mayers will take his spot on the major league roster.

Mike Mayer’s was called up to the MLB two days ago. Looks like he’s just temporarily filling a roster spot. Not sure if he’ll see much playing time, but I’ll keep an eye on it.

He has been up and down all year, and he's pitched pretty well for the most part. He seemed to figure somethings out over the off season last year and has really improved.

The Cardinals are raving about Nkemdiche. Maybe this is the year the effort finally catches up to the talent.

Gates tried out for the Niners, and then tried out for the Giants. Neither picked him up. He probably doesn't have a true position in the NFL

I’ve read similar stories from the Cards, sounds like Nkemdiche is gonna have a bigger role, and they’re expecting him to really come out this year.

Read a Vikings story that was similar, saying Laquon should be a come out player for them as well this year, but that article was really focused on a group of players, only mentioned his name, and didn’t seem as positive as the things I’ve heard coming out of Arizona.

I like keeping an eye on all these guys. Excited to see some of our guys like Wilkins, and Kelly in preseason. Also wondering what will happen with Brandon Bolden. He’s still on the Patriots, but they have Gillislee, White, Burkhead, Jeremy Hill, and they just drafted Sony Michel. That’s a lot of RB’s, and Bolden is on the back end.

Bolden is an excellent special teams player, and apparently Belichik and company love him. He’s a break in case of emergency RB who does a lot of other things for them.

I won’t be shocked when $wag takes the #2 QB spot and gets the first crack at the gig when Keenum doesn’t get the job done. He’s a much better QB than Lynch
