Where are you seeing that, other than that tweet last night?

It’s hilarious that it’s been 2 weeks and they’re already shaking in their boots. Tough road ahead. And from what I’ve read, he has the same buyout at LSU that he did here, so let the games begin.

I think one of the main reasons this feels different than the Luke hire is he technically had an interim tag for all of the 2017 season after firing Freeze that summer.

Everyone was already apathetic after we went 6-6 that year with a bowl ban and then still gave him the permanent job which just made the apathy surrounding the program that much worse.

No, it was 100% because I already knew he was a shitty coach. I basically put my fandom on hold from 2016 until 2020. The only time I watched a game during that 4 year stretch was when I was already in Auburn, AL (wife's family) and got free tickets to watch us play them. I sat there and just didn't give a shite because I knew we were going to lose.

Exactly my point. We got to watch him look lost on the sideline during what was essentially a one year audition as a head coach and still gave him the permanent job.

They just haven't gotten hit by the grift yet. It's the early, love bombing stage of the relationship. I give him three years, and he'll be tired of it all and looking to move. Honestly, six years here was a miracle, he was done when Auburn came calling. Him staying was just borrowed time for us.

Pete made sense this year due to the lack of available options. I was hoping for Sumrall but I think it all worked out in the end. I think Pete is showing signs of being a good head coach. A lot of coordinators can't make that jump, but they also typically have to take on a massive rebuild. Pete doesn't have to do that, he just has to keep the machine running.

With everything coming out now I would say two things that have been rumors are likely true. Lebby saying he was running the show seems to be true since we sent Hoe Kiffin to rehab. The second is Pete was a huge influence on bring structure to not only the team but the front office staff. If you look at the wins pre-Pete and post-Pete it is shocking. Plus he was the one leading the charge on HS recruiting and portaling. That being said I think we are more likely to get a Lanning or Smart DC promotion than a Matt Luke.

Joe Judge isn’t going anywhere for a couple years. He and Pete are thick as thieves also.

Seems like they are finalizing Joe being a QB / AHC type title and negotiating a big raise. Joe isn't going anywhere yet.

I'm just glad we don't have a head coach that lies about his own fanbase.

Neuheisel as TE coach or analyst?
His father likes Ole Miss I can't remember if the daughter went here or what the connection is.
