So Pete says he's coaching the D next year. I don't really like that

Hate that. Hope it's just a one-year bridge until a new DC can get fully up to speed

Can’t say I’m surprised. So it’s just going to be a bidding war between us an Mizzou for him

Sounds like Simmons to Mizzou is already done.

No ill will - he's been a complete professional since getting passed by Trinidad. Deuce will be coming to Oxford too

I hope it’s not as the starter and we bring in someone with experience. Auburn was a dumpster but I’ve heard he looked anything but good in practice.

Agreed. I’ll root for him and always be thankful for that UGA drive

I really want to know what happened between last year and this year. Was it just turnovers hurting his confidence? He was so quick and decisive last year and held the ball way too long this year.

I wouldn't be shocked, assuming Trinidad doesn't get his waiver, if the ECU QB is our starter next year while Deuce takes a year to get up to speed.

Sources tell On3 that Ole Miss is the only school to watch in this transfer recruitment.

Nope. He wanted too much money last cycle which is why we passed and he went to Colorado. I assume we'd get him extremely cheap now and see if he can he a rotational piece for the line

Watching those first two games, I think his main problem was coming out way too hyped up and he tried making every big throw possible. When he finally settled down, he played extremely well.

I'm wondering if Pete being the dc means Joe judge is going to be handling a lot of the normal hc duties. Really seems like Pete took the hc job because he wasn't interested in coaching under some of the other guys we were looking at. Maybe Pete handles all the public hc stuff but behind the scenes Joe judge handles a lot
