I agree. But the eternal Ole Miss sports pessimist in me won't let me think we have a chance at Arkansas next weekend

I guarantee you Arkansas isn't happy with this pairing either! The NCAA is trying to eliminate as many sec teams that it can before Omaha.

It really sucks for both of us. Committee screwed us both. I was really pulling for Ark to get upset but their regional was pretty easy. TCU was one of the last in and then they get a Pac 12 and Central Conn. Three teams from Connecticut made the postseason. Good for them.

The pod we were in was the only one to feature four teams from the same conference regardless. Georgia-LSU, and Arkansas-Ole Miss. Shitty that the selection committee was determined to cull the SEC like that before Omaha
