Silver lining we’ve been pretty damn competitive the last decade between Freeze and Kiffin.
Going for another 10 win season.
The 3rd in 4 years.
Ole Miss has 5 10 win seasons since Vaught.

It’s a difficult pill to swallow but you have to at least acknowledge that our program is at a higher level than it was.

Defense should be good again but until we get serious on offense we are a 8-4 or 9-3 type team

We free up a ton of NIL including a literal airline this offseason. The issue is we need someone to do what Dart did and actively recruit for us since coaches can’t speak to anyone not in the portal.

Jordan Watkins was a very frustrating case this year. The dude absolutely explodes against Arkansas smashing records. He was close to having a couple huge grabs today.
Da’quon Wright lowkey helped boost our offense in recent weeks. I liked how we utilized him.
Our elite WRs appear to be made of glass.. Treadwell, Metcalf, and now Harris.

Me either. The people that were happy just being competitive, beating State, going to a bowl and “accepting we will never be Bama or Georgia” were/are a cancer to this program

Yeah but still the years there is no 12 team playoff we would have been good enough. Then when there is a 12 team playoff we bust the bank and can’t get it done. I don’t know.

It’s the first year ever for it. We aren’t the only team opening the check book and we aren’t the only ones that will miss. Having the most talented/best coaches on staff still isn’t a guarantee that you’re going to win every game or reach your goals. We are an elevating program and the more seasons we have like this year and last year, the more used to success our fanbase and coaches will be. Clemson had years and years where they were exactly like us this season. Then eventually, they got a team and staff that clicked, and their program elevated to two national titles. The same thing happened at FSU when they hired Bowden.
Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Ohio State didn’t become the programs they are over night. It took years of people behind the scenes, the players and fanbases pulling in the same direction. We started doing that under Freeze and have kicked it into overdrive the last 4 years. We aren’t just your typical 4-7 win program anymore. The floor has become 8-9 with a ceiling of 11. Eventually that will continue to progress. I still think if he sticks around. Kiffin will get us there. But he has to make changes on the offensive staff and he is smart enough to know that.
